A collar is used to secure the neck or spine. Its position is adjustable, so it can be adapted to different sizes. The neck brace is really easy to place and remove. The posterior portion can be opened to diagnose the neck. It is easy to determine the size of the collar for the patient due to the color-coded collar and accurate finger size measurement method. The collar provides excellent motion limitation without overstretching or limiting access to the airway, oversized trachea orifice enables pulse checking and advanced airway procedures. It can also be laid flat to meet minimum storage requirements.
There are four adult sizes: high, regular, short and neckless and two pediatric sizes: pediatric and infant neckless. Pediatric dimensions also include a rear panel opening for palpitations, ventilation, and visualization. Pediatric collars are designed to take into account anatomical differences between adults and children.
Usage:
The front of the neck brace is lifted upward, and the back piece is placed in the nape of the neck.
Adjust the tightness and neck size to fit, then attach the nylon button.
The fixed time is usually 30 to 60 minutes or as directed by the doctor.
After securing, release the magic button and remove it.
